I love wine. I love reading about it, talking about it, writing about it, and of course, I love drinking it. I am a certified sommelier and a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. In 2008, much to my surprise, I won third place in the professional round of the Renaissance Project's Wine Tasting Challenge 2008. They say it's one of the largest wine tasting competitions in North America. I have also received a Sommelier Scholarship from the International Wine and Food Foundation of Canada. I am currently enrolled in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 4 Diploma Program. In addition to Suite101, my writing has also been published in magazines such as Food and Drink, Drinks, and Cottage Life, and in my spare time I write in my wine blog.
The following are articles for which I have received Editor's Choice Awards:
Refreshing Red Wines for Summer - Beaujolais, Barbera, Pinot Noir.
